Blast from the Past- Easter Edition

So the Easter Bunny arrived and delivered chocolate bunnies, Heavenly Hash eggs, and jelly beans. Also, embarrassing old photos, which I am promptly posting in all places CajunKate on the internets.

What's that, my beloved brothers and sister? Why would the Easter Bunny deliver such horrific embarrassment on the day our Lord is risen? You'll totally have to take that up with the Bunny. I had nothing to do with it.

So today I witnessed Emily's best friend Sydney, a girl who literally may weigh 85 pounds soaking wet, basically eat her body weight in crawfish. It was awesome.

Welcome to the World, New Baby Daigle!

So it's official! We have a new baby Daigle for Ted and Molly and the rest of us, and it's a... drum roll, please... BOY! I've already updated the Prudhomme City Primer with his info. His full name is Peter Roy Daigle, and he was born yesterday, weighing in at an impressive 8 pounds and 5 ounces. His middle name is in honor of his paternal great-grandfather, Roy Green. I must admit that I am thinking of boycotting the first name and just calling him Roy. This may get me in hot water with Ted and Molly, but I bet Pap-Pap would approve. Also, Cousin Lauren wholeheartedly approves of this, so I can always just blame her.

I just can't wait to begin spoiling him rotten! And to nom-nom on delcious rolls of baby fat. Ah, Daigle babies and all that baby fat. I could inhale them whole. Speaking of which, check out Melissa's Flickr account to see photos of Zah-Zah "Cheeks" Daigle. Talk about nom-nom!

Now, I am already ready for another new baby Daigle. I nominate Melissa to fulfill that request. All in favor?
